Imagine a person’s kitchen faucet starts spewing water in the air. Most people would reach out to a plumber. To find a plumber, they would search on the internet.
When someone buys your product or service, they have gone through a journey to get there. They had a problem—>they searched for information to solve their problem—>then they would decide based on information.
The easier it is for a consumer to find your product or service, the more customers you will have and the more money you will make. If your company isn’t found at the top of the search results…your competitors are.
Social media and marketplaces are essential and make up a significant portion of business revenue. However, if the customer’s sink is spraying water in the air right now, social media won’t be the first place that they turn to for help. They will most likely search Google.
